Teaching

I take a humanistic approach to leadership development, grounded in the belief that leadership is learned through experience, reflection, and engagement with others.

Drawing on research, case discussion, and experiential learning methods, I help people connect theories of leadership and organizational behavior to the realities of leading, following, and collaborating with others.

I have over four years of experience as a leadership consultant and coach on intensive executive education programs. My experience spans flagship programs for emerging leaders and senior executives, as well as company-specific programs.

I specialize in small-group facilitation and experiential learning. Informed by a systems psychodynamic orientation, my approach helps participants draw insight from the dynamics unfolding in the “here-and-now.” Through observation, inquiry, and reflection, I help people explore how they take up leadership and followership, exercise their own authority, and respond to authority in others. This work enables them to recognize patterns that might otherwise remain beneath the surface and to consider how those patterns shape their ways of showing up at work.
